Grow with us

How do we do this? We invest in people by providing opportunities to enable employees to develop to their full potential. We identify talent at an early stage and offer diversified career paths to build the skills needed and provide experiences to fulfill their aspirations. We do this through preparing individual development plans, offering geographic and cross-functional mobility and offering unique training programs, including specialized ones through our own Faurecia University.

Faurecia works to actively attract and recruit the best talent. We offer exciting entry-level opportunities to university students and recent graduates globally. More than 2,800 young people are also gaining real-life work experience through our internships, apprenticeships or international professional (VIE) opportunities.

A key priority is opening doors for all employees to exciting, challenging careers with promising futures. We look for people who fit our company culture and values to maximize their chances for a successful, satisfying career with us. Through a personalized onboarding experience, newcomers discover Faurecia’s organization and the Group’s culture of performance and value creation.

Performance at Faurecia is about more than setting objectives and achieving results. Beyond what we do, just as important to us is how we do it. We believe that our culture and values – reflected in our day to day behaviors- are intrinsic to our success in ensuring an environment where each employee has the opportunity to apply their talent and skills to the best of their ability and reach their full potential.

Faurecia’s managers are real “people developers,” with their team members’ professional growth as a priority. Career development isn’t just a possibility at Faurecia – it’s an expectation. Career moves are encouraged and can be within the same job family or into an entirely new function. In addition to assessing performance, managers are expected to help employees consider next steps in their career and to support self-initiated changes. Each employee is expected to take an active role in managing their own development. Human Resources professionals partner with managers and employees to define pathways and action plans for development and advancement.

We know that internal development of our future leaders today is essential to ensuring we have the skilled, experienced people we will need for tomorrow. Reflecting this priority, in 2016, 66% of plant management team (or equivalent level) vacancies were filled internally. And for Plant and Program Managers, this figure was nearly 80%.

Training is one of our most valuable investments. Providing employees with training adds to their skillset, enables them to create additional value and increases their motivation. Much of our training is offered through Faurecia University, which has campuses on three continents or through e-learning.
Faurecia’s Learning Lab offers managers and professionals rich, innovative programs using digital tools, social media networks and online programs to build their skills and prepare themselves to take on new responsibilities. Training is also provided through technical academies on specific products and processes.
Complementing the vast array of training options are Faurecia’s coaching and mentoring programs to help younger managers develop into tomorrow’s leaders.
