Our Automotive Seating Division is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager for its Technical Center at Auburn Hills, MI.
 
The main missions of the role are to:

Automotive Customer marketing / Product marketing
  • Understand the automotive market for our product and our next businesses : competition, technology, norms and regs, segmentation, price trends, customers, and end-users
  • Build sales & marketing diagnostics and identify business opportunities: growth, profitability, innovation, cost improvement

  • Support the activity of market analysis and make studies gone (products/countries..) in coordination with the Business Group market department

 


  • Involve in bringing the innovation to the market successfully: support acquisition process, define the product communication (selling tools, demonstrators, events, presentations, sales meetings ...)

 

  • Identify the targeted customers and business models and provide market oriented ranking criteria to prioritize our innovation portfolio
  • Provide support and orientation to Sales departments to sell innovations, to deploy product planning and to acquire new businesses
  • Provide support and orientation to innovation projects to define and adjust the targets (product definition, pricing, options …)
  • Contribute to the business plan and participate to present it during innovation project milestones
  • Participate to the definition of a value based pricing policy (together with sales, costings and innovation projects)
  • Follow the deployment of the product strategy: product improvement, footprint strategy, cost improvement, profitability
Automotive Market Intelligence / Strategic Plan
  • Support the local Sales departments to maintain existing databases and organize future activities needed
Communication
  • Support the BG communication team to deploy the Corporate Brand and to manage the local techforum (properties, communication, events …)
  • Support the Business Group events in its  region or with his/her dedicated OEMs : techdays, conferences, meetings at OEMs’ …
  • Support the BG communication team to update constantly the tools of internal communication (Intranet, Newslink, Faurecia infos...) and external communication (BG information on Internet site, Group photographic library... )
  • Up to 25% travel

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineer and/or Business/Sales 
  • 10-15 years of experience in automotive industry, in either sales, project management, marketing, or engineering
  • Professional background in client facing positions (CBU, Acquisition, Program)
  • Automotive experience and worlwide / NAO market knowledge 
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to develop a strong product expertise
  • Business acumen (business plan, business model)
  • Project Management Skills
  • Results oriented  with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and strong internal networking capabilities
  • International mind set, strong analytical skills
  • Customer orientation
  • Functinal team working capabilities
