 Our Interiors Division is looking for a Quality Lab Technician/CMM Technician for its manufacturing plant in Spring Hill, TN.

 

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Ensuring the quality during start-up and manufacturing stages of customer's projects
  • Planning and creation of quality assurance documentation of the product
  • Creation of inspection plans for purchased parts
  • Support within the creation of inspection plans for main product with respect to inspections that are to be carried out by the quality department (Product audit, SPC, Re-qualification Tests, etc.)
  • Inspection of transition of these requirements into the quality documents (Product audit, testing of 1stpiece, inspection carried out by the operator), or creation of this documentation
  • Participation on FMEA
  • Creation of reports on first sampling of parts.
  • Participation on process audit and customer's audit.
  • Monitoring of customer's claims and its processing; inspection of corrective actions
  • Establishing of the contact with customer and improving it.
  • Coordination of quality documentation changes in case of series production process changes
  • Support to production department in case of resolving the quality problems
  • Monitoring of capacity of measuring devices and processes.
  • Monitoring of results; taking care of product audit within the mass production.
  • Planning of measuring and testing equipments in cooperation with the service sub-group of the quality department
  • Assurance of supplier's quality
  • Creation of sampling procedure for purchased parts, conducting claim procedures with suppliers
  • Keeping records and elaborating of monthly statistic returns regarding claims to suppliers
  • Coordination of input and output production inspection
  • Monitoring of fulfilling of internal scrap rate aims and accepting the provisions intended for meeting these aims
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of enterprise's processes.
  • Carrying out the work based on instructions given by the superior.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • 2-5 years of quality manufacturing experience
  • International mind set, overseas experience a plus
  • Automotive experience is a plus
  • organizational and communication skills
