Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group – North America Operations (NAO) Division is looking for a VIE Marketing Analyst m/f for its location in Auburn Hills, MI, USA.

The main mission of the role is to be in charge of providing comprehensive analysis of Faurecia Business through market studies such as customers, new countries, technologies, competitors and key players. He/She develops and maintains Marketing Information Systems market database, which contains key data on application, acquisition and market shares.

The main missions of the role are:


  • Responsible to prepare and align NAO volume data for strategic plan, budget, and business plans for all business groups.
  • Prepare and distribute a monthly State of the Industry report for Group and BG (Business Group) executive teams.
  • Prepare and present monthly production, sales and inventory levels in Monthly Results Meeting.
  • Prepare reporting to Division and Group levels, support Mid Term Plan process and product plans, consolidate new commercial activities by tracking targets and working with controlling to quantify.
  • Organize overall group competitive intelligence: collect, relay, archive information related to competitors, and maintain competitors and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) profiles to better understand strategies, products and alliances.
  • Follow the current and the future market shares (by product, customers…) for Faurecia and competitors
  • Support Customer Business Units on regional and global level on the creation and maintenance of databases and customer presentations
  • Market research and analysis: product, customer, technologies, competitors, state of the industry. Identify relevant information, conduct the required analysis (quantitative, qualitative) and present the results/recommendations in a business decision oriented format
  • Main contact into Seating North America from Group Communications both locally and internationally
  • Prepare FAS events: Auto Shows, Tech Days, customer visits, conferences, etc...
  • Lead perceived quality efforts for all demonstrators.
  • Understand the functionality of each demonstrator to troubleshoot technology in real time during any given event.
  • Take part in the design, carry out and update the supports of communication: general presentations of the BG, product technical files and innovation, press kits, building signage, etc...
  • Coordinate and carry out the schedule and shipments of locally owned demonstrators and products living both in the Tech Forum and in the Innovation Plateau.
  • Owner of AHHQ (Auburn Hills Headquarters) Tech Forum including event schedule, properties and accompanied tablets, podiums, signage, accesss, etc. 

The length of the VIE is 18 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master’s degree in Business in Marketing, Business or Finance

  • Fluent in English

  • Very broad functional knowledge and depth understanding of business expertise

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office suite programs

  • Strong presentation skills to internal and external customers.

  • Good communication and presentation skills, and capacity of empathy

  • Business international mindset

  • Accountable and results oriented – Get the things done

  • Team player and ability to work in a matrix organization
